Billeting

Billeting in youth hockey offers significant benefits for both the host family and the player. For the host family, it provides an opportunity to build lasting relationships, experience the joy of supporting a young athlete, gain a deeper connection to the sport, and contribute to their community. Strong bonds develop between the player, his parents, and the billet family, which often extend well into the future after the player moves to the next level.

For the player, billeting offers a supportive home environment, a sense of stability, and the chance to immerse themselves in a new community. This experience helps them develop independence, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills, all while pursuing their passion for hockey.

Locker Rooms

Our locker room policy promotes a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all players. Key elements include maintaining cleanliness, respecting personal space and belongings, and promoting good sportsmanship. Players should arrive on time, follow the coach's instructions, and use appropriate language. The policy also emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and zero tolerance for bullying or harassment. Parents and guardians are encouraged to support these guidelines to foster a healthy and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone involved.

Local Travel

Victory Honda Hockey's local travel policy requires players and their parents/guardians to arrange travel and avoid one-on-one situations between employees, coaches, volunteers, and unrelated minor players. Efforts should be made to obtain parental release in advance and minimize unavoidable one-on-one travel to reduce risks.
