VH Billet Policy & Requirements

The Victory Honda AAA Hockey club recognizes that players do leave home to play hockey in a location away from their parents. In this circumstance we work to arrange for the players to live with a host or billet family. ”Billet” refers to the host adult(s) and family with whom the athletes live. Having youth players live outside their homes increases risk for abuse and misconduct to occur. Our goal is to match players with families that support and care for the player well-being both on and off the ice.

Thank you to all involved for supporting the organization with your willingness to send and house our players.

The VH association recommends $450 to $475 per month for the billet fee.  Ultimately, the fee will need to be agreed upon between parents and billets.  This fee includes 3 meals a day, snacks, as necessary transportation to and from VH events if the player does not have a vehicle of their own, along with use of general home amenities.  Any specialized items such as specific protein shakes, self-care products, spending money etc., will be the responsibly of the player.
